L Mortenson Testimonial

Before working with Paul, I felt stuck in a career that no longer held meaning or satisfaction for me.

I worked with Paul for just 3 months, and one month later I’ve been offered a role in my new career, working 100% from home. This could not have worked out any better!

How Modules Work

1. Complete Workbook

Log in to your online career change workspace and complete the workbook in advance of our session.

Each fillable workbook contains effective exercises designed to build your career change gradually from the ground up.

2. Coaching & Mentoring Session

60-minute, 121 Zoom sessions to gain deeper understanding of your workbook answers and how they contribute to your career change.

We may also tackle underlying obstacles such as low confidence, decision-making, motivation, doubts and fears.

3. Actions

Wherever appropriate, at each stage we’ll agree actions for you to take to move your career change forward each time.

We’ll also catch up on the progress of actions set last time and I’ll provide the right level of accountability for you.

3

I was stuck knowing what direction to go in and lacked the confidence to make any changes. Paul helped showed me who I am, what I enjoy and what I want from a career, and really challenged the way that I think. I’m excited about moving forwards now to a place where I am a lot happier.

FAQ

How Long Does The Direction & Focus Programme Take?

Choose your approach:

1. Monthly pay as you go –  adjust your pace as you go, and complete in the timeframe that’s right for you.

2. Focus period – set yourself a maximum completion period of 3 months (fast track) or 6 months for standard programme.

Can I Really Finish In 3 Months?

Yes, but this intensity won’t suit everyone, and we’d need to agree this approach is right before you move forwards.

How long do the workbooks take?

The workbooks vary in length and everyone works at a different pace.

Some people spread each workbook over 3 or 4 weeks, while others are able to complete one very fully and effectively in a single afternoon / day block.

As a guide, I recommend allowing 5 to 10 hours to complete each workbook.

What Is The Outcome Of The Programme?

You will have a plan to change career.

Specific outcomes vary from person to person. Clearly, if you decide to become a surgeon but don’t have any science qualifications, it’s going to be a little while before you’re wielding the knife…!

The most effective and meaningful goal at this early stage is to find positive movement, direction and focus. For some people, this means having very specific plans, and some are even already moving into the implementation stage by the end of module 6.

Others are actively working with at least one exciting new career direction they feel confident to achieve, and have a plan to follow their new path.

Can I Stop Half Way Or Take A Break?

Yes, if you’re on the Flex plan.

However, I recommend you don’t pause unless you absolutely have to. Momentum is key to this process.
